Or go somewhere that has one. It reports Voltage and fuel rail pressure (& errors). Fuel rail pressure should be 300bar at idle Rising to 1600 bar at full throttle from about 3000rpm. If the raill pressure is fine there is nothing wrong with the pump. Your Voltage should be reading 14v.
Not really much point in the 2.2 in the Civic now unless you want to tow a caravan. There was speculation about this from the launch of the 1.6iDTEC. The 1.6iDTEC is much more economical. The 2.2iDTEC doesn't do much better than thee 1.8iVTEC petrol that does about 48mpg, is cheaper to buy and is more readily available.

Disconnect the air filter pipe. Loosen the 7/16 bolt on the top pipe of the air filter box & remove the top pipe and disconnect the plug next to it. Remove the airfilter bracket. its not important, but lets you get easier access. Remove the two fuel pipes. Squeeze the clips with pliers & move the clips back.
