I read that on a different forum and realized I had recently downloaded a new course. This was my method for correcting the problem: 1) I deleted all downloaded courses using the Garmin Golf app (on my iPhone 11 iOS 14.8.) 2) I synched my Garmin Vivoactive 3 with my phone to make sure courses were deleted from the watch. 3) I restarted my watch.
Changing the Garmin golf app to use yards changes the whole Vivoactive 3 device to use miles and yards for all activities. So it seems that you have deprecated the ‘Golf Distance Units’ option in Connect, but changing this in the Garmin Golf app doesn’t change the Vivoactive settings in the same way.

After this 5.40 update on the VA3 the GPS is useless it was ok with 5.20 with in 10m+ or - now it's always way below sea level so because of that it won't track floors correctly at all and again totaly useless and i'm realy not happy with this as it was a good watch and yes i have reset it twice with the same result so i'm putting to down to a
Well, my wife is proud owner of VA3 :-D. Each second GPS workout, whe gets sth like this: Usually, the minimum elevation is -500m. Really annoying. Darsell over 4 years ago +1. Same goes for me. Waiting 60 seconds after GPS connected. Tried with the watch off my wrist. Tried with it on different wrist.
