LordOfTheTires 2 yr. ago. I'm hesitant to say anything, because I don't "know" and can't try myself as I don't have an HRM-DUAL but .. (I believe) The Garmin HRM Dual will connect to a Garmin watch, not the garmin connect app. To use the heart rate feature I believe you need to use a third party 'receives heart rate over bluetooth' app.

No dramas. Sure, you have to make sure the o-ring sits nicely there but really, you should know. I believe this is why they updated the HRM-Pro with the Plus version, so the o-ring never comes off the cap. Too many people were resorting to warranty for the HRM-Pro and Garmin has been way too nice to just send a new one to these users.
