Honda claim 73mpg from the Rebel which I can't help thinking is massively wishful thinking or not recorded in real road conditions. This is actually for the 2009 Honda Rebel. The 2009 is not yet on the year list for the reviews, so I had to put it under the 2008. There really is not much difference between the 2008 and 2009 Honda Rebels, except for color availability. The 2008 come in two colors; silver or black.
